This is Jordan.  Although not advertised at the time, this was to be my very first Senior session.  I was assuming it was going to go pretty smooth...  He's old enough to do what's asked of him, he's naturally good looking, and he's family.. although as a photographer asked to capture such an important time I always get nervous.. .  He showed up dressed more formal, a nice shirt and slacks all pressed with a fancy bow tie, I thought it was perfectly suiting for him (and that my friends is what being comfortable in a session should be about.. you.)  He had other outfits in mind as you'll see, he was very creative and knew exactly what he wanted his senior session to show.  That he was funny, an athlete, and confident.. I think we captured it!

Jordan is a natural in front of the camera.  He hung out as I tried to figure out specific locations and ideas (not only my first senior session, but my first time on the grounds of his High School.. which, by the way, was an awesome place to take senior photos)  I am pretty sure he too was trying to figure out was he was going to do...

Even when asked to sit in his nice outfit on the ground, he thought about it, but did it anyways....

and we got this...

He did more than enough to make his mom proud, to give me something new and interesting, and something for himself...

Yup, the superman idea was his extra something... just for himself.. I thought it was an awesome idea!

He's also a Soccer Player so we wanted to capture the field that he played on.  The things you never see are what's going on behind the camera.. like the fact of a football game is also taking place on the field as we were shooting.  Again, it's hard to "act" for the camera as friends and extra people are watching but I think we did above and beyond in the elements...

ok, he thought this next shot was just crazy.. but I am in love with it!

Oh ya, and then just as the sun was setting and we were walking off of the field.. there was this hill.. that just seemed.. right.
